They recently added the Lilli Creek Mining activity where you can sift for “gems” and keep what you find! 

Silverwood Park, located on the banks of Silver Lake, is a one-of-a-kind natural attraction dedicated to the mindfulness of creative interactions between humans and the natural world. Explore the work of regional artists and poets along park trails and indoor gallery spaces. 

The park has picnic areas, fishing opportunities, canoe and kayak rentals, and an outdoor performance venue. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Silver Lake, prairie, and mature oak trees while walking the trails. An art gallery, a café/coffee shop, event rental space, and other amenities are available at the Silverwood Park.
