Palmer Lake Park is a wonderful spot to go to watch wildlife and relax in the great outdoors. There are about 200 acres in the park with a paved path. It also has two playgrounds, baseball/softball fields, and tennis courts.

The park preserve is an excellent location for bird watching. The American Redstart, Gray Catbird, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak are all birds to look out for. Palmer Lake is a good place to go fishing because sunfish abound there.

In Brooklyn Center, the Brookdale Library offers a wellspring of information and community support. Visitors can use the computer or free Wi-Fi in addition to borrowing books. Hmong, Laotian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese books are available.

In 2004, the structure was restored to add 22,000 square feet of space, as well as desktop computers and a teen zone. We are 1.2 miles from the library. The Brookdale Library is a haven for Brooklyn Center inhabitants!

The Shingle Creek Regional Trail is a trail that runs north-south across the metro area of Minneapolis. It’s an 8-mile paved trail that pedestrians and bicyclists can utilize. The walk is dog-friendly, but you must keep your dog on a leash.

You can take a relaxing stroll along the trail and drink in the scenery. Shingle Creek Regional Trail is less than a mile from Sterling Square. The Brookdale Library is located by the trail. On foot or by bike, the Shingle Creek Regional Trail is a great place to explore!
